The Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA)

Vanderbilt was chosen in 2007 to receive one of the Clinical and Translational Science Awards (CTSA).  As of 2013, the CTSA Consortium expanded to 62 medical centers throughout the nation (awarded since 2006). Through these awards, National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), supports a national consortium of medical research institutions working together to improve the way biomedical research is conducted across the country.
